Johnny Lever playing the role of a hitman named Kala is enough to make us want to watch this movie. He is just one of the actors with vastly different agendas who populate this comical caper. The movie revolves aroundNitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar), a humble servant in a plush mansion of a lady who goes by the amazing name of Cruella de Ville (Archana Puran Singh). One thing is for sure – Cruella is full of hatred, the kind of hatred that is geared to make you laugh. Can you imagine, she resorts to kicking Nitin into her swimming pool every time he fails to satisfy her? The only thing she loves is her pampered dog, who goes by the fanciful name of Moolchand ji.
On the other side of the film’s spectrum is Ram Mishra (Sunil Shetty) who is a lowly paid courier boy. Of course, both Ram and Nitin have girlfriends. Ram has managed to make an impression on the svelte Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) and Nitin is close to Anjali (Kartina). The thing is that the girls have tyrannical fathers who care nothing about love and they want their daughters to get married to rich men. Finally the girlfriends have to give their poor lovers a ultimatum – either they do something with their lives or they can forget about marriage. Ram and Nitin can see no way out for themselves and they are on verge of ending their lives, when they bump into each other accidentally and become friends.
In order to get hold of some money they hatch a harebrained conspiracy. What else can you expect from a courier boy and a servant! They kidnap the dogMoolchand ji and demand ransom from Cruella . Too bad for them, they are unable to execute their plan perfectly. Mafia bosses with instinct to murder at the slightest provocation enter into the fray. There is lot of confusion, fainting spells, chases and hysterical outbursts, song and dance sequences, the usual action scenes and finally the film ends with a bomb blast inside a swimming pool. Overall, this film is sure to appeal to those who are looking for light-hearted entertainment.
