Time is now ripe for you to trade your 150cc bike for Honda’s latest creation. Bike enthusiasts are already touting the CBR 1000 RR as the dawn of a new era in sports bike design. Though built for smooth and expansive western roads, this bike is tough enough to withstand the vagaries of Indian roads as well. It will accelerate so quickly that you get the feeling of taking off on a rocket. The bike is much smaller and slimmer, even the chassis is 2.5kg lighter as compared to earlier versions. The aerodynamically designed bodywork evokes an aura of aggression, which is greatly extenuated by a pair of linebeam headlights and a unique cowl design.

The 1000 RR gets its rush of raw power from its state of the art DOHC 16- valve, 999cc, four-stroke inline four-cylinder engine. A sixteen-valve cylinder head featuring 30.5mm intake and 24mm exhaust valves with a 12.3:1 compression ratio are highly conducive for efficient combustion and high horsepower. The bore and stroke dimensions are at 76mm x 55.1mm. The fuel tank is centrally located to increase mass centralization and allow a more compact frame design. The bike is available in several eye-catching colors like Red/Black, Black/Metallic Grey (Limited Edition), Black/ Metallic Silver, Pearl Yellow/ Black and Candy Dark Red/ Metallic Silver.
