Interviews Angela Taylor
It is that sultry smile coupled with a remarkably curvaceous body and oodles of talent that has led Angela Taylor to be an enchanting model as well as a vibrant businesswoman. The ravishing brunette has competed in more than 200 bikini contests worldwide and in the year 2000, she was one of the contestants in the Miss Universe contest. She has played memorable roles in popular TV shows, and her performances in R&B music videos are smoking. Planning a hot party, you can always depend on Angela to make arrangements conducive for a really good time. After all, she is a siren who happens to be at the helm of an event management company.

What did you want to be growing up?
As a child my ambition was to be a veterinarian. I just love animals.

What do you consider your best physical feature?
Almost everything about me is perfect (Laughing). But since you ask for my best feature I think that would be my hair.
Turn-ons
I like tall men who hold a good job. They must be educated, they should like animals and they can’t be frugal.
Turn-offs
I am averse to selfish guys, who are lazy and have nothing better to do than to wallow in their own insecurities.

You run an event management company. How did it get started?
Initially it began with my acquaintances asking me to help them in organizing a party or event. When I did a good job for them, many people started paying me to do stuff for them. That is when I decided to leave my teaching job and start an event management company.

What’s the craziest event you’ve managed to pull off?
I had to book a bunch of girls and female poker dealers to go to Mexico for a poker tournament. There were no tables and no chairs provided. I had to take all my equipment from Canada, but they seized most of it at the border. But I still managed to pull off the event with some minor improvisations. At the hotel we found chairs and tables that we could use, and everyone had a great time.

How do you handle guys that misbehave at your events?
Guys don’t want to mess with me, because I am a tough woman. I never get drunk when I am managing an event. It is difficult to stay sober when there is a party atmosphere around you, but I manage to do it.

You’ve been in over 200 bikini contests. Tell us about the most memorable one?
The bikini contest in Bahamas called Calendar Girl 21 was definitely the most memorable one for me. I managed to make lot of friends and I got to meet a bunch of gorgeous models from all over the world.

Any wardrobe malfunctions while participating in a contest or during modeling assignments?
I can’t remember any specific instance of my bra slipping off my body, but I have had my share of trips and falls. Once I fell right down a staircase in Toronto where I was in a bikini contest.

After your fall, did you walk off or continue with the show?
I continued with the show.

Such a trooper. What do you girls talk about in the changing room?
Just how we look and how’s our hair and we also share tips about losing weight.

You’re a very business minded women. What’s better - sex or making money?
Hmm that’s tough one. I would say making money because it lasts longer and sex does not always equal love.

On your website you mention archery and dog sledding as hobbies. Do you actually do these things? How did you get interested in it?
Dogsledding is my favorite winter sport. I love this sport because dogs are my favorite animals. When I am in Canada I indulge in archery during autumn months. It is a great sport that allows you to practice outdoors and bask in the beauty of nature.

Do you watch Bollywood movies? Who’s your favorite actor and actress?
At times I do. Recently I saw Bride and Prejudice starring Naveen Andrews and Aishwarya Rai.

If you were an animal what would you be?
I would like to be a white tiger. Because they are so fierce and Godlike.

Name a fantasy role job.
I could be an environmental ambassador to any country with horrendous policies.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done?
I hitchhiked around Paris with my best friend at 19. That turned out to be a really crazy escapade. We were actually kidnapped and then held in police custody until they called our parents in Canada.

If a genie gave you one wish, what would it be?
For my mom to be healthy, since she has breast cancer.

Name one person famous you want to meet? What’s the first thing you would say to them?
I would like to meet Angelina Jolie and ask her how it feels to be such a dynamic woman.

If you won the lottery what’s the first thing you would do?
Go visit my cousin and best friend in China.

What about us in India?
(Laughing) I’ll visit you someday and then you can take me to see the Taj Mahal.

Perfect, we can be your guide.
